Disconnect to Reconnect Retreat, May 13th – 15th 2022

After two years of ups and downs, lockdowns, stress, and social distancing, a recharge of batteries is very much needed.

This retreat is for you to disconnect and distance yourself from the busy life of always multitasking and rushing, to take a breath of fresh air reconnect with nature, and experience a deeper connection to your own core. 

Our aim is to build calmness of spirit and create a friendly environment where you reconnect with yourself and have fun surrounded by like-minded people.

The retreat will take place for 3 days and 2 nights in three beautiful wooden chalets in Troodos mountains, surrounded by nature, under the Cyprus sun. 

During the retreat you will:

PRACTICE YOGA reconnecting with your body 

BREATHE & MEDITATE to lift your mood and calm your mind

HIKE through beautiful Troodos mountains 

HAVE A NUTRITION workshop

ENJOY MASSAGE to release and soothe your body and soul (optional)

HAVE A WELLBEING COACHING SESSION with Nora Meldere (optional)

APPRECIATE FREE TIME connecting with nature and likeminded people

Accommodation options for two nights:

Small Double room (2 single beds) – shared

Regular Double room (2 single beds or 1 double bed) – shared

Option for single occupancy of a room can be discussed upon request (limited availability)

Nora Meldere

Holistic Well-being coaching 

On the last day of the retreat, you will have the option of booking a 20-minute well-being session with Nora and exploring any topics related to your health and happiness. 
Nora has been supporting people through lifestyle changes helping them to lose or gain weight, get fitter and more active, tackle sleep problems and stress-related issues.


Egli Ioannou 

Yoga teacher and facilitator

Egli has been organizing retreats for the past three years and will be there to make you feel comfortable and make sure your needs are met. 

As a therapist and Yoga teacher, she is ready to provide her skills and knowledge throughout the whole of this experience!


Dates: Friday 13th of May – Sunday 15th of May 2022

For who: Anyone who loves yoga and/or nature!

Price: 360 euros per person (small shared  room), 700 euros for double booking before 13th April

380 euros (standard shared room), 740 euros for double booking before 13th April

In order to book your spot, a deposit of 50% is required before the 13th of April. In case of a lockdown, all deposits will be FULLY refunded.

The deposit is non-refundable in case of Covid illness. Please take good care of yourself before the retreat!

A maximum of 14 people will be accepted in order to keep the group more personal.

We will follow safety measures proposed by the government at the time. Please, make sure you have all the required before arriving at the retreat.

Wooden Chalets in Spilia village 

The chalets have a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a dining area, and a large shared bathroom with a shower and a toilet. A large veranda on the ground floor with wooden tables is the perfect spot to have breakfast and dinner whilst overlooking the mountain views and the village.

Yoga classes with a view

Daily dynamic Yoga classes to start the day and calming Yin Yoga classes in the evening to calm your spirit. All our classes will be taking place outdoors overlooking the mountains. Fresh air, nature sounds, and sunlight are complimenting the experience. 

Hike in Troodos

To connect with nature and to re-connect ourselves, we will be hiking through the nature trail of Cyprus mountains.  The trail will be selected to fit everyone’s needs and hiking experience. During the hike, we will be having a lunch picnic enjoying our packed lunch with a view. 

Extra free time will allow more nature walks around Spilia.

Home-cooked delicious meals 

Our aim is to deliver nutritious, tasteful, and cruelty-free food in order for you to feel your best most energetic self whilst on the retreat. During our retreat, a cook will be preparing our breakfast and dinners, with plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options for everyone.

Wine tasting

On our second day, we plan on visiting a winery for experiencing local Cyprus wines. The option of purchasing wines will also be available.

During our final night, we plan on having a goodbye dinner with music and wine under the stars. 

Massage Therapy

(optional, at an additional fee) 

On the last day of our retreat, you will all have the chance to book a 20-minute massage with a certified massage therapist. Not to be missed pampering opportunity before returning home. 


Our aim is for you to leave feeling both rejuvenated and reconnected. 


Nora is a well-being coach supporting people through lifestyle changes for living happier and healthier life.

In her practice, she combines nutrition, yoga, and exercising as well as mindset tools.

She teaches Ashtanga-based yoga and personal training sessions. She holds a degree in Dance & Performance and Applied Psychology. 

Egli is the founder of Cocoon Wellness center in Nicosia. She is a Hatha, Aerial, and SUP Yoga teacher and trainer, even though her bachelor’s and master’s were in Clinical Psychology. 


FAQs:

Do I get a refund if there are covid restrictions from my country?

Yes, you will receive a full refund if you can’t come to the retreat due to Covid – related restrictions or lockdown. 

How many people will be accommodated per room?

2 people per room, if you come with friends or family, you will be able to sleep in the same room. Bathrooms are shared between a maximum of 4-5 people. We try our best to arrange accommodation in a way that everyone can enjoy their stay. 

What will happen if it rains?

We will practice in a covered area or have alternative indoor activities in case it rains.

Will there be options for vegetarians/vegans/gluten-free food diets?

Yes, all our meals are vegetarian, with vegan and gluten-free options available. Once you registered, you will receive a questionnaire in regards to your diet and other topics that will help us learn more about you. This will help us plan the retreat so you can have a smooth and enjoyable experience at the event.
